Apple Delight Ice Cream

Ingredients:
6 pieces Dipt’n Dusted® Apple Slices
2 (2-ounce) scoops vanilla ice cream
2 tablespoons caramel sauce
1 sprig fresh mint (optional)

Method:

  1. Preheat frying oil to 350ºF; follow cooking instructions for Crisp Apple Slices.  Place cooked apple slices on paper towels to drain; keep warm until ready to use.
  2. Place vanilla ice cream in bowl and top with Crisp Apple Slices.  Drizzle with caramel sauce and garnish with mint sprig, if desired.
    (Makes 1 serving)

 

Apple Banana Foster Pancakes

Ingredients:
6 pieces Dipt’n Dusted® Crisp Apple Slices
5 (1-inch) slices ripe banana
1/4 cup caramel sauce
1 sprig fresh mint (optional)

Method:

  1. Preheat frying oil to 350ºF; follow cooking instructions for Crisp Apple Slices.  Place cooked apple slices on paper towels to drain; keep warm until ready to use.
  2. Prepare pancakes and arrange on serving plate.
  3. Top pancakes with Crisp Apple and banana slices.  Drizzle caramel sauce and garnish with mint sprig, if desired.

Apple Biscuit Shortcake

Ingredients:
5 pieces Dipt’n Dusted® Crisp Apple Slices
1 biscuit, halved
4 fresh raspberries
1/4 cup prepared raspberry sauce
1/4 cup prepared whipped cream
1 sprig fresh mint (optional)

Method:

  1. Preheat frying oil to 350ºF; follow cooking instructions for Crisp Apple Slices.  Place cooked apple slices on paper towels to drain; keep warm until ready to use
  2. Prepare biscuit and separate into two halves when cooled
  3. Place one-half of biscuit on serving plate and top with whipped cream, then Crisp Apple Slices; repeat layers, ending with an apple slice on top
  4. Add raspberries, drizzle with raspberry sauce and garnish with mint sprig, if desired.

Pineapple Ice Cream Bowl

Ingredients:
6 pieces Coconut Breaded Pineapple Bites
2 (2-ounce) scoops vanilla ice cream
1 slice pineapple
2 ounces raspberry sauce
1 sprig fresh mint (optional)

Method:

  1. Preheat frying oil to 350ºF; follow cooking instructions for Coconut Pineapple Bites.  Place cooked Coconut Breaded Pineapple Bites on paper towels to drain; keep warm until ready to use
  2. Place vanilla ice cream in bowl and top with Coconut Breaded Pineapple Bites.  Drizzle with raspberry sauce and garnish with pineapple slice and mint sprig, if desired.

Grilled Pound Cake with Pineapple Bites

Ingredients:
6 pieces Coconut Breaded Pineapple Bites
2 slices grilled pound cake
2 ounces whipped cream
1 tablespoon chiffanade mint (optional)
1 cup peach pineapple sauce – recipe follows

Peach Pineapple Sauce
1 cup prepared peach preserve
1/4 cup diced pineapple (canned – reserve juice)
1/4 cup pineapple juice (canned)

Place ingredients in saucepan over medium heat.  Cook 4-5 minutes or until sauce has thinned.  Remove from heat; let stand for 3 minutes.

Method:

  1. Preheat frying oil to 350ºF; follow cooking instructions for Coconut Breaded Pineapple Bites.  Place cooked Coconut Pineapple Bites on paper towels to drain; keep warm until ready to use
  2. Place grilled pound cake slices in bowl and top with Coconut Breaded Pineapple Bites and whipped cream.  Drizzle peach pineapple sauce on top and garnish with chiffanade mint.  Serve warm.
    (Makes 1 serving)

 

Pineapple Banana Split

Ingredients:
5 pieces Coconut Breaded Pineapple Bites
2 (2-ounce) scoops vanilla ice cream
1 banana, halved
1/4 cup strawberries, halves
1/4 cup blueberries
2 tablespoons caramel sauce
1 ounce chocolate sauce
1/4 cup whipped cream
1 sprig fresh mint (optional)

Method:

  1. Preheat frying oil to 350ºF; follow cooking instructions for Coconut Breaded Pineapple Bites.  Place cooked apple slices on paper towels to drain; keep warm until ready to use
  2. Place vanilla ice cream in serving bowl with banana halves on either side
  3. Top with Coconut Breaded Pineapple Bites, whipped cream, blueberries and strawberries.  Drizzle with chocolate and caramel sauces.  Garnish with mint sprig, if desired.

Piña Colada

Ingredients:
2 pieces Coconut Breaded Pineapple Bites
1 tablespoon toasted coconut
1 maraschino cherry
1 pineapple slice
8 ounces prepared piña colada mix

Method:

  1. Preheat frying oil to 350ºF; follow cooking instructions for Coconut Breaded Pineapple Bites.  Place cooked  coconut breaded pineapple bites on paper towels to drain until ready to use
  2. Prepare piña colada mix following package directions and pour into serving glass
  3. Garnish with Coconut Breaded Pineapple Bites, cherry and toasted coconut.
